Queer Communi-TEA Classes
Yoga and a cup of tea :)
These are ongoing 5-week yoga courses specifically for the LGBTQ+ community and allies. EVERY BODY is welcome.
These courses will be led by Janice Kate Fisher. We will practice classical hatha yoga together taught in the Sivananda tradition. After class a cup of tea and light vegan refreshments will be served for anyone who wants to stick around for a gentle social.

A word from Janice
‘I rather wish pronouns weren’t a thing but given that they are please feel free to address me with any and all, I request you mix em up. I identify as non binary and queer. I have been teaching yoga for over 17 years and running Light Yoga Space for 10.
Because of my own complicated relationship with my body and gender I am personally drawn to working with more fat people, and more queer folk of all shapes, sizes and gender identities. I have found yoga to be a hugely supportive practice and tool when working with anxiety, an overactive mind, insomnia, depression, low self-esteem, self-hate, low energy, addiction recovery and so much more. I have been working with fat people and running body positive classes for the last 6 years and am keen to invite more queer folk of all shapes and sizes onto the yoga mat to see if this healthful, expansive, liberating practice might be useful for you too.
