Traditionally yoga is practiced at the early break of dawn when the earths energy is subtle and has a magical quality. Early morning is a richly rewarding and powerful time to work with asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing) and meditation.
Recommended morning routine
- Set your alarm
- Snooze twice max, but never turn the alarm off and go back to sleep!
- Instead climb out of bed, give yourself a pat on the back, and make yourself a congratulatory honey lemon and ginger drink
- Wash and dress
- Come to yoga
- Feel the benefits all day long!
