What can Yoga do for your business?
Yoga teaches techniques of deep and thorough relaxation and concentration. Practiced regularly Yoga can considerably help to relieve mental stress, improve focus and increase energy levels which in turn can reduce absenteeism and improve productivity.
The physical stretches can help to relieve aching and tight muscles caused from poor posture in front of the computer. Yoga can help to prevent and/or offer considerable relief from specific work related complaints such as back and neck pain, stiffness, headaches, low energy levels and depression and can help prevent RSI.
Meditation in the Workplace
The Light Yoga Space offers one-off introductory meditation sessions great for away days, or weekly hour long training sessions offered in 4-8 week blocks.
A regular meditation practice helps the individual to focus their mind. Taking a short time out to simply ‘be’ encourages deep-relaxation and restoration enabling greater focus and renewed vigor and energy for work tasks.
Regular meditation practice can balance the left and right side of the brain and can enhance creativity and problem-solving ability.
