Peter Vestergaard
(Bharata)
Peter took his Yoga Teacher Training Course with the Sivananda Organisation in the Himalayas in India and also worked as full time Sivananda staff in the ashram with varied duties, including teaching yoga and leading Satsangs.
Peter is also a trained dancer with the Rambert School of Ballet & Contemporary Dance and a Classical Ballet teacher with the British Ballet Organisation.
He has a unique perspective on movement and posture and a good working knowledge of anatomy and physiology. His precise adjustment technique is greatly valued by students.
Peter teaches with warmth and humour making his classes a pleasure to experience.
He also has an interest in healthy vegetarian Yogic Diet, Cooking and Ayurveda. He has been cooking as a hobby since he was a child and his food is creative and delicious. He is our very own skilled Master Chef at the Light Yoga Space cooking up a storm at our Satsangs, Beginners Courses and Day Intensives. Peter bakes beautifully and provides our yogi cookies and muffins available after class.
Peter was born and bred in Denmark and speaks fluent German English and Danish, as well as being able to communicate in several other languages.

Janice Kate Fisher
(Yamuna)
Janice took the Sivananda Yoga Teachers Training Course in the Sivananda Headquarters Ashram in Canada in 2002 and the Sivananda Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Course in Vrindavan India in 2009.
She first discovered Sivananda Yoga in the early/mid 90s and has been studying an integrated Hatha, Bhakti, Jnana Karma and Raja yoga practice with the Sivananda Organisation progressively ever since.
Janice is a sensitive and experienced Hatha Yoga teacher.
Her particular interests are in teaching Pranayama, Relaxation, Meditation, Kirtan and Chanting. She enjoys the Sanskrit language and is learning to play the harmonium, a musical instrument used in classical Indian music, and she is able to accompany at chanting sessions and Satsangs.
She has a background in Fine Art and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Printmaking and Photo-media from Central St Martins College of Art & Design and a Masters of Arts in Fine Art Printmaking from the Royal College of Art. www.janicekatefisher.co.uk
She puts her creative skills to good use with the visuals at the Light Yoga Space including the interior design of the Studio, the website, design and copy, and all of the graphic artwork. She also coordinates the business behind the Light Yoga Space.
