Beginners’ Drop-in Yoga Class


Tuesdays 7:15 - 8:45pm


This class is specifically for beginners, returners and for people who want a really gentle introduction to yoga.


Often after 5 or 6 beginners yoga classes (sometimes less sometimes more) people feel ready to join our open class.


We will practice the same postures in the beginners class as we do in the Open class only at a slower and gentler pace with beginners variations to help you develop flexibility and strength for some of the harder poses.


Everyone is welcome to come along to this class regardless of age, gender, ability, shape or size.

If you have never done yoga before we suggest you try at least 3 yoga sessions within 3 weeks to really get a feel for the practice before deciding if yoga is for you or not, as it can take some getting used to.


If you feel nervous about coming or uncertain whether yoga is for you but really do quite fancy it why not give us a call we will be more than happy to chat to you about the classes to help put your mind at ease.


If you would prefer a more regular and structured approach, and need a boost to help you to commit, why not try our Beginners’ Courses, providing a thorough introduction to all things Sivananda.
